Word Vine
Word Vine the first game created by Chris de Carteret. You can find it here. There is also a version with high scores playable at Miniclip.com
The idea for the game came from some research on creativity I read about. There’s something called a RAT, or Remote Associates Test (Mednick and Mednick, 1967), where a test subject is given three words, say, ‘apple’, ‘family’, and ‘house.’ The subject is expected to produce a fourth word which associates with all these words. This is called ‘convergent thinking’, something I’m very interested in. Especially since it appears to be at the core of most creative problem solving.

I’m having trouble with the 14th puzzle on word vine. Any suggestions or tips? this is a wonderful game that is helping the daycare kids I work with learn their compound words and meanings. It’s wonderful!

chessie. i found out the way to pass lvl 14 on word vine. it’s: path on the top right corner, follow from that it’s foot, then go up and it’s stool, then down to get to toad. going down from foot is hold, then go down and it’s strong, then follow on and it’s head. i just tried moving them round to sort out any random words and it worked. try it! luv ya.

My family loves this game but what happens when you’ve completed all the puzzles on miniclip? Are there any more puzzles to do anywhere? This is a great game. We’d like to keep playing with new puzzles to do.
